RELATIONSHIP TO ADOPTED PLANS AND POLICIES <br /> <br /> To meet the requirements of CEQA Section 15125(b), Wagstaff and Associates will review <br /> and evaluate project consistency with applicable local general plan and regional plan policies. <br /> Emphasis will be placed on identification of any significant inconsistencies with adopted <br /> policies. The following plans and policy areas will be included in this analysis. <br /> <br /> A. City of Redwood City General Plan <br /> <br /> All adopted policies from the Redwood City General Plan that are judged to be pertinent to the <br /> proposed project will be excerpted, and associated project relationships described. Where a <br /> particular project inconsistency is identified, related mitigation measures identified in the <br /> impact section of the EIR, as well as any warranted additional measures necessary to achieve <br /> plan consistency, will be identified. The analysis will include review of project consistency with <br /> Redwood City General Plan policies pertaining to, but not limited to, land use compatibility, <br /> employment and housing goals, visual and urban design, transportation and parking, biological <br /> resources, municipal services, drainage, etc. <br /> <br /> B. Pertinent Reqional Plans <br /> <br /> Project relationships to pertinent adopted regional plans also will be briefly described, <br /> including: <br /> <br /> · San Mateo County Con.qestion Mana.qement Pro,qram, <br /> <br /> · The San Francisco Bay Conservation and Development Commission San Francisco Bay <br /> Plan; <br /> <br /> · The Regional Water Quality Control Board's Water Quality Control Plan, and <br /> <br /> · The Bay Area Air Quality Management District's Clean Air Plan. <br /> <br /> TASK V. ALTERNATIVES TO THE PROPOSED ACTION <br /> <br />r Six (6) alternatives to the proposed action will be described and evaluated by Wagstaff and <br /> Associates and the EIR team. These comparisons will be designed to assist the City in <br /> advocating desirable variations to the project design, if warranted. The range of alternatives <br />r will be finalized in consultation with City staff near the end of the ADEIR impact assessment <br /> phase. At this preliminary point, the alternatives may include: <br /> <br /> A. No Project (i.e., status quo) <br /> <br />r B. Current General Plan~Zoning Development Scenario (all office-commercial) <br /> <br /> WP51 ~622[MISC~0013-2.EXA <br /> <br /> <br />
