Our written request for additional compensation to cover necessary out-of-
scope services and associated costs is attached. Are there any changes or
clarifications you'd like to suggest before I forward the letter to Tim Ridner (perhaps
you'd like to forward the letter with your transmittal)? Also, please feel free to call me
with any comments or suggestions regarding letter content. Thanks.

Please note that the requested total does not include the following two requests by
Fehr & Peers (1) the October 11,2002 request for $3,100 to complete a "Revised
Cumulative Analysis" (authorized by you and the applicant in October 2002), and
(2) the May 19, 2003 request for $4,500 to complete a "Supplemental Analysis Without
Widening of Woodside Road" (approved by you this morning). These two amounts
would be additive to the amount we are requesting in the attached letter. (The
October 11, 2002 and May 19, 2003 Fehr & Peers request letters are also attached.)

Also, as a follow-up to your verbal OK this morning, could you provide us with written
(e-mail) authorization to incur that $4,500 extra charge from Fehr & Peers for the
"Without Widening" analysis, if possible with an indication regarding whether the $4,500
will be funded by the applicant or the City? Thanks a lot.

CtT O REbW )Ob ITY
P ~N~qNG ~ 0 FDE OPMEN
