Based on our <br /> review of the Planning Commission public hearing transcript and the 35 tetters received <br /> pertaining to the Draft EIR, we have determined that the original (Contract Exhibit "A") <br /> billing allocation of $50,064.30 (15 percent) for preparation, reproduction, and <br /> certification of the Final EIR remains adequate. <br /> <br /> Summary--Requested Additional Amount and Proposed Remaininq Payments. In <br /> summary, the total cost incurred by the EIR consultant team since June 2002 for <br /> necessary extra time and materials equals $58,110. The total amount billed to date (as <br /> of April 24, 2003) for extra costs totals $50,064.30, representing the billing total <br /> originally allocated for the Final EIR phase. The total unbilled amount to date for extra <br /> costs is therefore $8,045.70. <br /> <br /> The estimated cost to prepare and certify the Final EIR has not changed--i.e., still <br /> equals $50,064.30. The amount of additional compensation requested beyond what <br /> has been billed to date is therefore $58,110.
