III. ISSUES <br />A. Citizen Survey <br />City Manager Smith presented the Survey <br />B. Quality of Life <br />Councilman Britschgi reported the Volkswagen dealer has expressed and <br />interest in helping with a city wide cleanup week to be held during the <br />week of the BFI special pickup. <br />Councilman Bury suggested a bus tour for Redwood City residents to see <br />what is taking place and agreed to investigate setting up such a <br />community day event. Councilman Stangel offered to assist. <br />MEMO 2/22/87 <br />C. Focused Planninq Effort <br />Councilman Greenalch requested that a copy of AB 145 (Speier) relating <br />to housing of the homeless be obtained for consideration by the <br />Legislative Committee. <br />In response to discussion regarding use of volunteers, City Manager <br />Smith said he will put together some possible volunteer program <br />suggestions for Council. Quality of Working Life <br />QWL Steering Committee Co- Chairs Mullin and Light, with the assistance <br />of Consultant Terry Mahaney described the overall QWL program and the <br />current status of particular programs. <br />(Lunch recess: 12:15 - 12:50 p.m.) <br />IV.
