Item No. 2 (continued) <br />City Attorney Schricker noted that abatement of nuisance relates to <br />structural conditions and that health problems can be addressed by criminal <br />prosecution or civil action so that termination of proceedings now will not <br />eliminate the City's enforcement tools. <br />Mayor Claire invited anyone present who wished to speak to do so. No one <br />wished to speak. <br />M /S: Bury /Stangel to close the public hearing. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and public hearing closed at 8:09 p.m. <br />M /S: Stangel /Britschgi to terminate proceedings in the subject abatement of <br />nuisance item. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 87 -37 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />3. Public Hearing - Abatement of nuisance - 3426 and 3466 <br />Rolison Road (continued open 90 days from 8/18/86; and <br />60 additional days from 12/15/86) (702 -11) <br />Report: Community Development Director and Building Official 2/17/87 <br />Building Official LaTorra presented the subject report recommending <br />termination of abatement proceedings with staff to monitor closely completion <br />of required repairs. <br />Mayor Claire invited anyone present who wished to speak to do so.
