Public Hearing - Sewer Service Charges <br />Reports: City Manager 3/2/87 <br />Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Hearing is on file. <br />City Engineer Addiego summarized the report made at the January 5, 1987 City <br />Council meeting. <br />Mayor Claire declared the public hearing open at 7:56 p.m. and invited anyone <br />present who wished to speak to do so. No one wished to speak. <br />MS: Britschgi /Stangel to close the public hearing. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and the public hearing closed at 7:57. <br />M /S: Title read: Britschgi /Stangel to adopt the following ordinance: <br />ORDINANCE NO. 1947 AMENDING SECTIONS 27.71, 27.82, 27.89 AND 27.122 OF, <br />REPEALING ARTICLE IX OF, AND ADDING ARTICLE IX TO, CHAPTER 27 OF THE CODE OF <br />THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY RELATING TO THE METHOD OF ESTABLISHING CERTAIN SEWER <br />SERVICE AND CONNECTION FEES FOR PUBLIC AGENCY CONTRACTS, CONNECTION PERMITS, <br />PRIVATE SYSTEM PERMITS, STORM WATER DRAINAGE PERMITS, AND WASTEWATER <br />FACILITIES USER FEES; AND REVISING WASTEWATER SYSTEM SERVICE CHARGES, <br />RESPECTIVELY (approved 2/23/87; Report: City Manager 2/20/87) <br />The ordinance was adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />3. Public Hearing - Application for food vendor permit - <br />Baryoly Ashufta <br />Report: City Manager 2/9/87 <br />City Manager Smith requested Police Chief Guardino to review the subject <br />application. <br />Discussion followed on the various ramifications of issuing such a permit; <br />where the vendor would be allowed to park and sell; the problems of other <br />vendors such as curbside selling of flowers and seafood products. <br />Mayor Claire declared the public hearing open at 8:08 p.m. and invited anyone <br />present who wished to speak to do so.
