a. Commercial General Liability insurance providing bodily injury and <br /> property damage coverage with a combined single limit of at least <br /> $1,000,000 each occurrence or claim and a general aggregate <br /> limit of at least $1,000,000. This insurance coverage shall include, <br /> but not be limited to, premises and operations; contractual liability <br /> covering the indemnity provisions contained in this document; <br /> products and completed operations; broad form property damage; <br /> and <br /> <br /> b. Automobile Liability insurance providing bodily injury and property <br /> damage with a combined single limit of at least $2,000,000 each <br /> occurrence or claim. This insurance shall provide contractual <br /> liability covering all motor vehicles including owned, non-owned <br /> and hired vehicles. <br /> <br /> 2. Proof of Insurance: Prior to commencing work, Operator shall submit <br /> and have approved a Certificate(s) of Insurance and Endorsement <br /> with the Risk Manager of the City of Redwood City and AMBER <br /> Technologies & Consulting evidencing the required coverage and <br /> endorsement(s) and, upon request, a certified duplicate original of any <br /> of those policies. Said Certificate(s) and endorsements shall stipulate: <br /> <br /> 3. The insurance company(les) issuing such policy(les) shall give written <br /> notice to the Risk Manager of the City of Redwood City and AMBER <br /> Technologies & Consulting of any material alteration, or reduction in <br /> aggregate limits, if such limits apply, and provide at least thirty (30) <br /> days notice of cancellation. <br /> <br /> 4. That the policy(les) is Primary Insurance and the insurance <br /> company(les) providing such policy(les) shall be liable thereunder for <br /> the full amount of any loss of claim which the Operator is liable for, up <br /> to and including the total limit of liability, without right of contribution <br /> from any other insurance which is in effect for the benefit of the City of <br /> Redwood City, AMBER Technologies & Consulting, SamTrans and/or <br /> JPB <br /> <br /> 5. The policy(les) shall also stipulate: Inclusion of the City of Redwood <br /> City, AMBER Technologies & Consulting, SamTrans and JPB, as <br /> additional insured shall not in any way affect the rights of such <br /> additional insured as respects any claim, demand, suit or judgment <br /> made, brought or recovered against the Operator, and shall protect <br /> them in the same manner as though a separate policy had been <br /> issued to each, but nothing in said policy shall operate to increase the <br /> insurance company's liability as set forth in its policy beyond the <br /> <br />Sh/~vc/council <br />Agmt-500 <br />FXS/fs <br />07/12/01 <br /> <br /> <br />
