Legal Services Committee report and recommendation <br />(301 -06) <br />Councilman Britschgi, member of the Legal Services Committee, presented the <br />Committee report and recommendation of March 12, 1987. <br />M /S: Greenalch /Chandler to approve and authorize retention of legal services <br />for Redevelopment Agency as Special Services under agreement with the City <br />Attorney on an hourly basis at the present rate of $80.00 per hour. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. MINUTE ORDER NO. 87 -58 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />CITY MANAGER REPORTS <br />2. Seaport Boulevard Assessments - Refinancing (407 -02) <br />Report: Finance Director 3/19/87 <br />Steve Casaleggi, bond counsel of Jones Hall Hill & White, presented a general <br />overview of the Reassessment Report (per Division 11.5 California Streets & <br />Highways Code) prepared by Brian Kangas Foulk & Associates and distributed to <br />Council and filed with the City Clerk this evening. Mr. Casaleggi replied <br />to questions concerning details of the report. <br />Finance Director Ramchandani noted for the record that he has been advised <br />that Lincoln Properties no longer wishes to increase the amount of the bond <br />issue by $750,000 as stated in the third paragraph of the subject report of <br />March 19 from his office. <br />City Manager Smith and City Attorney Schricker observed that there are many <br />questions to be answered before the public hearing on April 27 and that the <br />proposed action is preliminary. <br />Titles read.
