Traffic Study - Intersection of Edgewood Road /Alameda <br />de las Pulgas <br />Report: City Engineer 4/16/87 <br />City Engineer Addiego presented the subject report using overhead projections <br />illustrating the accident history of the intersection and of recent and <br />proposed improvements. <br />In response to question, Mr. Addiego said he does not recommend a firm, rigid <br />barrier in front of the Greppi property, because such obstacles are likely to <br />increase greatly the amount of physical injury and damage in any accident <br />involving collision with the barrier as well as creating hazards for other <br />vehicles in the roadway. <br />M /S: Britschgi / Greenalch to accept the subject staff report of 4/16/87 by <br />the City Engineer and the recommendations contained therein with the addition <br />that staff is to look into the possibility of placing a "No Right Turn on <br />Red" sign for those driving south on the Alameda who want to turn right at <br />Edgewood Road. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 87 -76 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />M /S: Britschgi /Chandler to waive reading of the Consent Calendar, adopt the <br />resolutions and approve other items. <br />Carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 47 4/20/87 <br />Paae NO. 108 Page 6 <br />
