Request of Building Trade Council to establish <br />Prevailing Wage Policy (801 -01) <br />Report: City Manager 5/27/87 <br />City Manager Smith summarized the report. <br />M /S: Chandler /Britschgi to delay discussion on the subject of Prevailing <br />Wage Policy until all members of Council are available. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 87-99 <br />3.a Councilman Britschgi referred to the proposed Environmental Impact Report <br />regarding the new cement dock at the Port. He asked City staff to review the <br />report, that he was interested in the fact that the cement may be shipped out <br />of the Port by train which could possibly create an environmental impact on <br />the streets between the Port and the railroad tracks. <br />City Manager Smith said that staff will report back to Council for <br />informational purposes. (Memo 6/2/87) <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />BOARD, COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE REPORTS <br />a. Councilman Stangel, member of the South Bayside Systems Authority, <br />reported that the 1986 -87 budget was $5,373,862 and the 1987 -88 budget is <br />$4,626,000 which is a decrease and things are looking very well at the <br />SBSA. <br />b. Councilman Stangel summarized the testimony he gave as member of <br />Peninsula Ad Hoc JPA, as Vice Chairman of the San Mateo County Transit <br />District Board and Councilman from the City of Redwood City to the <br />California Transporati on Commission on May 29, 1987.
