No <br />one wished to speak. <br />M/S : Chan dl er /S tan gel to cl ose the publ is hear ng. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and public hearing closed at 7:37 p.m. <br />M/S : Chandl er /Greenal ch to discontinue proceedings for the termination of <br />sanitary sewerage service to Bay Area Circuits and find that Bay Area <br />Circuits is in compliance with the City Code. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. 87 -119 <br />Marcell a Gail l ant, 2828 Carol ina, invited Counci 1 to attend a meeting at her <br />home on June 23, 1987, at 7:30 p.m. for the purpose of considering <br />improvements in water pressure in her neighborhood. Mayor Claire confirmed <br />that he will attend the meeting. <br />MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br />2. Set date for consideration of policy re prevailing wage <br />r at es <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Claire determined it to be the consensus of Council that <br />policy regarding prevailing wage rates will be considered at the City Council <br />meeting on September 14, 1987. <br />MEMO 6/23/87 <br />2.1 Vice Mayor Chandler reported that he has been elected Chairman of the ALUC <br />(Airport Land Use Committee) <br />2.2 Councilman Britschgi called attention to correspondence from Al Anderson, <br />Quay Lane, objecting to the painting of house numbers on curbs without the <br />consent of residents and the collection of "donations" of $7.00 for the work <br />by a company known as Mateo Community Services.
