Item No. 1 (continued) <br />Ralph Peterson, 240 Outer Circle, representing the San Mateo County <br />Historical Society, referred to the letter to Council from the Chairman of <br />the Board going on record that they have not and do not plan to participate <br />in the Project. Mr. Peterson said that the Society is working with a task <br />force to build a better Historical Society Building. <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Claire determined it to be the consensus of Council to <br />appoint a committee of two Council members to meet with representatives of <br />the Matthew Turner Foundation to explore possibilities relating to the <br />Project; and to appoint Councilman Stangel and Vice Mayor Chandler to the <br />committee. <br />MEMO 9/15/87 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />2.
