Stangel <br />REGULAR MEETING <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />October 19, 1987 <br />7:30 p.m. <br />CALL TO ORDER - 7:30 p.m., Mayor Claire presiding <br />Councilmen present: Britschgi, Chandler, LaBerge, Stangel and Mayor Claire <br />Councilmen absent: Bury and Greenalch <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schricker, Hildebrand and Pawloski, <br />Patterson, Schroedl, Light, O'Brien <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Vice Mayor Chandler <br />INVOCATION - Reverend Daniel Vasquez <br />Church of the Open Door <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - October 12, 1987 <br />M /S: Chandler /LaBerge to approve the subject Minutes as submitted. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote, Mayor Claire abstaining. <br />SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS - None <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS - None <br />MATTERS OF COUNCIL INTEREST <br />a. Councilman Britschgi requested that the annual meeting with the Board of <br />Port Commissioners be scheduled soon. <br />City /Port Attorney Schricker reported that the Board had just discussed the <br />matter and the President will contact the Mayor shortly. <br />MEMO 10/20/87 <br />b. Councilman Britschgi referred to the letter dated October 14, 1987, received <br />from BFI regarding a Fall Cleanup the week of October 26 -30, 1987 and <br />suggested that it is already too late to advertise the cleanup. <br />City Manager Smith said he had talked to BFI about the lateness of their <br />announcement and arrangments have been made to have the cleanup in December <br />instead. <br />MINUTE BOOK N0. 47 Reg.Mtg. 10/19/87 <br />Page No. 389 <br />
