Matters of Council Interest (continued) <br />c. Councilman Britschgi referred to his memorandum of October 13 to Council and <br />the City Manager relating to repairs to Canyon Road and requested support of <br />his recommendation for review of costs and alternatives with regard to <br />rebuilding the road. <br />City Manager Smith said that an interim report on the matter is being <br />prepared and w i l l be forthcoming soon. <br />MEMO 10/20/87 <br />d. Councilman Britschgi reported on the meeting of the Council of Mayors <br />Transportation Committee studying the proposed 1/2 cent sales tax increase <br />for transportation improvement, stating that a letter on the items the <br />Council wishes to have considered should be sent to Chairman Pagliaro by <br />December 12 and requesting placement of the subject on the October 26, 1987 <br />Council Agenda. <br />City Manager Smith reported that the Crane Study on the Redwood Shore /101 <br />Corridor will be completed next week and recommended a joint meeting be held <br />with the City Councils of San Carlos and Belmont. Tuesday, November 17, was <br />suggested as a possible meeting date. <br />MEMO 10/20/87 <br />e. Councilman Britschgi reported he and Councilman Stangel have met with Keyser <br />Marston regarding the Innisfree project for the Gateway Redevelopment <br />Sub -Area and that information from Innisfree is expected to be received <br />soon. <br />f. Councilman Stangel reported that SamTrans has received a letter from the <br />General Manager regarding the Redwood City CalTrain station progress report <br />and helping with the intermodal transit facility. <br />g. Councilman Stangel SamTrans representative, reported that the Redwood City <br />bus depot has been improved and landscaped and that the building will soon be <br />repaired and renovated. <br />h.
