Marina Sub-Area - Exclusive Right to Negotiate <br />with Diversified Marina Enterprises (DME) re <br />Proposed Maple Marina Area Auto Center (1402-04) <br />(continued from 9/26 and 10/26/87) <br /> <br />Report: Executive Director 11/19/87 <br />Letter from Diversified Marina Enterprises 11/23/87 <br /> <br />Executive Director Church presented his report and replied to questions <br />relating to the letter from DME distributed this evening. <br /> <br />Ralph Nobles, 3720 Country Club Drive, Vice Chairman of the Planning <br />Commission, opposed any renewal of exclusive right to negotiate with DME for <br />the proposed Maple Marina Area Auto Center, stating the Marina is a unique <br />waterside site, and it would be inappropriate to use it for an auto center. <br />Mr. Nobles recommended advertising for proposals for the site from all <br />interested parties so that the proposals might be reviewed. <br /> <br />MIS: Grenalch/Stangel that the Agency Board issue a Request for Proposals and <br />Qualifications for the development of the Marina Sub-Area. <br /> <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br /> <br />MINUTE ORDER NO. RD87-2:Ð <br /> <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />3. Gateway Sub-Area - Status of negotiations with The <br />Innisfree Companies (Oral report) <br /> <br />Executive Director Church reported on the latest session with representatives <br />of Innisfree Company and displayed a site plan for the area.
