<br />{¿" 3- ß 1 ;L <br /> <br />RESOLUTION NO. <br /> <br />RESOLUTION DECLARING CERTAIN DESCRIBED CITY. <br />OWNED PROPERTY SURPLUS AND AUTHORIZING <br />SALE THEREOF <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City of Redwood City owns that certain personal property listed <br /> <br />on Exhibit !lA," attached hereto and by this reference incorporated herein; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, this Council has received evidence that such property is not needed <br /> <br />for present or prospective municipal or public purposes, and should be declared <br /> <br />surplus; and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, the City Assessor has appraised said property and determined that <br /> <br />the current reasonable market value of the total of each of the surplus items to be sold <br /> <br />as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000); and <br /> <br />WHEREAS, it is the intention and desire of this Council to declare said property <br /> <br />surplus and authorize its sale in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City <br /> <br />of Redwood City. <br /> <br />NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF <br />REDWOOD CITY, AS FOLLOWS: <br /> <br />1. This Council hereby finds, determines and declares that those items listed on <br /> <br />Exhibit A are surplus; that they are no longer necessary or required for municipal or <br /> <br />public purposes; and that the appraised value of the total of each of the items to be sold <br /> <br />as a unit is less than Five Thousand Dollars ($5,000). <br /> <br />2. This Council hereby authorizes the sale of the City-owned property described <br /> <br />in Exhibit A in accordance with Section 3-1/2 of the Charter of the City of Redwood City. <br /> <br />3. <br /> <br />This Resolution shall be effective upon the date of its adoption. <br /> <br />Atty/Reso/Reso.1513 <br />011905 <br /> <br />* * * <br />
