Box 391 <br />Redwood City, OA 94064 <br /> <br />RE: Contract Planning Services for 990 Veterans Blvd. (Chevron) <br /> <br />Dear Mr. Jany, <br /> <br />On behalf of MHA Environmental Consulting, Inc., I am pleased to submit this proposal to provide <br />contract planning services for the City of Redwood City. The intent of the proposed service is to <br />provide environmental review services and project management of entitlement permits for the <br />proposed rebuild of the Chevron service station at 990 Veterans Blvd., under the direction of the <br />Planning Director and staff. <br /> <br />It is our understanding that, at a minimum, the project will require a condìtional use permît, an <br />architectural permit, and a mitigated negative declaration. <br /> <br />Planning Services <br />Anticipated contract services include the following: <br /> <br />, ) Regular meetings with staff to underatand the project and City codes and procedures, <br />and to coordinate project review. . <br />2) Review of the projeçt application, plans, and support documents. <br />S) Review of pertinent sections of the City's Zoning Ordinance and related codes and <br />policies. <br />4) Visits to the site. <br />S) Meetings and other communications with the applicant and the applicants <br />representatives (maximum of 3 meetings anticipated). <br />6) Meetings and communications with other intere5ted parties, including adjacent property <br />owners or busineeses, and responsible regional or State agencies, if any (2 meetings <br />anticipated) . <br />7) Preparation of letters and memoranda as necessary to outline the project status or <br />review comments. <br />8) Preparation of a Mitigated Negative Declaration. incfuding coordination of the work <br />efforts of the project traffic consultant. <br />9) 'preparation of staff reports to the City's Zoning Administrator. Architectural Review <br />Committee (ARC), and Planning Commission (1 report to each anticipated). <br />10) Attendance and presentatiOns at meetings of the City's hearings offICer, ARC, and/or <br />Planning Commission as required (1 meeting with each anticipated). <br /> <br />This proposal anticipates work over a three to six month period. Work would primarily occur off- <br />site, but I will be readily available to meet at City Hall or elsewhere as needed during the course <br />of the project. <br />
