Results of November 2, 2004 Consolidated Special Municipal Election (307) <br />Recommendation: <br />Adopt a resolution declaring Canvass of Returns and Results of Special <br />Municipal Election held on November 2, 2004 <br />RESOLUTION 14618 OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF REDWOOD CITY <br />RECITING THE FACT OF THE CONSOLIDATED SPECIAL MUNICIPAL ELECTION <br />HELD ON NOVEMBER 2, 2004 DECLARING THE RESULT AND SUCH OTHER <br />MATTERS AS PROVIDED BY LAW <br />5.3 Section — Claims and Warrants <br />A. Approve warrants dated through December 6, 2004 and usual and necessary <br />payments through December 13, 2004; (301) MINUTE ORDER 04 -221 <br />B. Leave to Present a Late Claim (303) <br />Recommendation: <br />Staff recommends denial of the application to file a late claim from Mohsen <br />Jahani who alleges damage to a rental truck from an overhanging City tree. <br />MINUTE ORDER 04 -222 <br />6. STAFF REPORT <br />A. Transportation Impact Fee Account Report (702) <br />Traffic Engineer Haygood explained that the annual account report is required by <br />the State Code governing local development impact fees. He stated that the <br />majority of the funds balance of $6.8 million will be spent on the Blomquist <br />extension project. Staff expects to proceed, with right of way acquisition and <br />grading of the approaches for this future bridge over Redwood Creek. Next years <br />report will cover the funds available after the fifth year that the fee program will <br />have been in effect.
