Reports of Boards, Commissions & Committees (continued) <br />Mayor Britschgi announced that Councilmen Bury and Stangel have been asked to <br />meet with two representatives of the Planning Commission to discuss mutual <br />problems. <br />MEMO 1/30/86 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />REPORTS OF CITY MANAGER <br />1. Holly Street Interchange modification - cooperative <br />agreement (702 -02) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Public Works 1/21/86 <br />Director of Public Works Addiego presented the subject report using <br />transparencies depicting the Phase I improvements which have taken place with <br />the plans for Phase II and the financing plan. Mr. Addiego said the <br />financing plan will involve a cooperative agreement of the State, San Mateo <br />County, the City of San Carlos, Redwood City and FAU (Federal Aid Urban) fund <br />use and a second agreement with San Mateo County having to do with needed <br />work on bus route streets. <br />In response to questions regarding landscaping, City Manager Smith and Mr. <br />Addiego said no funds for it are included in Phase II, but efforts will be <br />made to have landscaping of the project included in the State budget for such <br />work. <br />Title read. M /S: Stangel /Mosher <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10125 APPROVING AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION OF AGREEMENT WITH <br />THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA (DEPARTMENT OF TRANSPORTATION) RELATING TO FUNDING <br />RESPONSIBILITIES TO MODIFY THE HOLLY STREET INTERCHANGE ON STATE HIGHWAY <br />ROUTE 101 <br />adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />2. MOTION: that the City elect to become a reimbursing <br />employer under the provisions of AB1575 (504 -06) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of Human Resources 1/22/86 <br />In response to question, Director of Human Resources Irizarry said that <br />future reimbursement is intended, but instructions for making claim have not <br />yet been covered. <br />M /S: Bury /Rhodes that the City elect to become a reimbursing employer under <br />the provisions of AB1575. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote.
