Item III Parks 7 Recreation (continued) <br />Judy Buchan, member of the Park & Recreation Commission, read a petition in <br />support of establishment of a park ranger position in an attempt to reduce <br />vandalism and provide an interpretive program at Stulsaft Park. <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Britschgi determined it to be the consensus of Council to <br />refer the petition relating to establishment of a park ranger position to <br />the City Manager for inclusion in the 1986 -87 budget which will be <br />considered at a study session in June. <br />MEMO 2/13/86 <br />TRANSPORTATION <br />Director of Public Works Addiego reviewed the projects. <br />CONSENSUS: Mayor Britschgi determined it to be the consensus of Council <br />that Item 17. Relocate Flashing Light - Alameda de las Pulgas /Vera Avenue <br />which is scheduled for 1987 -88 be given a higher priority in order that the <br />work can be accomplished in the 1986 -87 budget year. <br />MEMO 2/13/86 <br />STREET LIGHTING <br />SANITARY SEWER <br />STORM DRAINAGE SYSTEM <br />PARKING DISTRICT <br />REDEVELOPMENT <br />GENERAL IMPROVEMENT DISTRICT <br />Ms. Margolis stated for the record that once financing is arranged for CIP <br />projects, they will be referred to the Planning Commission for review to <br />determine if the projects are in compliance with General Plan requirements. <br />She stated further that any capital improvement projects may be financed in <br />a variety of ways, and options are reserved in order to do so. <br />IV. DEPARTMENTAL MID YEAR REPORTS <br />Department heads reviewed the status reports on the 1985 -86 Budget and <br />issues proposed to be addressed in future budgets. <br />ADJOURNMENT <br />There being no further business, Mayor Britschgi declared the session adjourned <br />at 2:55 p.m. <br />JACQUELINE C.
