Item No. 3 (continued) Ruie Tomlin, 125 Hyde Street, neighbor of the appellants, said she is opposed to allowing an outside separate staircase or inadequate parking. Ms. Tomlin said she supports the conditions imposed by the Zoning Administrator and asked that the appeal be denied. Dean Collins, 90 Finger Avenue, said that the large tree on the Hummel property would block any view the neighbors might have of the staircase which he would prefer to a steel fire escape. Mr. Collins noted that parking is poor on Finger Avenue. Mayor Britschgi invited anyone else present who wished to speak to do so. No one wished to speak. Carried unanimously by voice vote and public hearing closed at 8:40 p.m. M /S: Claire /Mosher to uphold the decision of the Zoning Administrator and deny the appeal of conditions attached to the approval of a Use Permit to allow an accessory dwelling unit within an existing single - family dwelling at 101 Finger Avenue owned by Stanley and Angela Hummel, based on the following findings: that conditions of the Use Permit are approved in that they are necessary to obtain the objectives of the Zoning Ordinance in that they require compliance with Zoning Ordinance Section 2.5.2, and, further, that no grounds have been established for granting a variance pursuant to Zoning Ordinance Article 43.
