Mayor Britschgi reported he has been asked by SamTrans to appoint a senior <br />volunteer to that agency and asked Council members to make suggestions to him <br />for the appointment. (1202 -03) MEMO 3/20/86 <br />b. Mayor Britschgi called attention to a letter he had received from Mayor <br />Robert G. Pelusi of the City of Napa thanking Redwood City for assistance in <br />Napa's recent flood disaster and commending City employees David Larsen and <br />Mohammed Hani f for their work. ( 301 -09) <br />c. Mayor Britschgi called attention to a copy of a letter from Mayor Victor A. <br />Mangi ni of Burl i ngame to Mayor Bob Mars hal 1 of San Bruno , Chai rman of the <br />Council of Mayors which was sent to all mayors in San Mateo County relating <br />to representation on the proposed joint powers agency for transit. Mayor <br />Britschgi requested direction from Council with regard to the proposal that <br />two of the proposed three representatives for the County should be selected <br />by the City Selection Committee.
