Mrs. Edwards said that neighbors have observed many people <br />coming and going, suggesting that the illegal structures are being used for <br />habitation and urged that Mrs. Harvey be required to comply with appropriate <br />Codes. <br />Mayor Claire invited anyone else present who wished to speak to do so. No <br />one wished to speak. <br />M /S: Chandler /Greenalch to close the public hearing. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote and public hearing closed at 8:20 p.m. <br />M /S: Bury /Chandler to continue the subject closed public hearing for 60 days <br />during which time William Phoenix can meet with his client, Mrs. Harvey, and <br />with City staff with regard to the proposed nuisance abatement and that Mr. <br />Phoenix be directed to communicate to Mrs. Harvey that the illegal accessory <br />building and enclosed patio are not eligible for rehabilitation, since they <br />are in violation of the Zoning Ordinance. <br />CLARIFICATION: In response to question, Councilmen Bury and Chandler said <br />that it is the intent of the motion that communication be made to Mrs. Faye <br />Harvey who has been designated by her attorney as the person responsible for <br />the property at the address given.
