Item No. 3 (continued) In response to question of Councilman Greenalch regarding his ability to vote on the subject application, since he is a member of the Home Sharing Program Board, City Attorney Schricker said that he may vote on the application with a note made in the record that he is abstaining from the vote on the portion relating to the Home Sharing Program. Councilman Britschgi recommended for the record that at the next joint meeting of the City Council and the Planning Commission that the agenda include an item relating to whether the Commission has a role in considering applications for Community Development Block Grant Funds. Steve Howard, 907 Katherine, commented concerning Council consideration on June 2, 1986, of the property at 1756 Broadway for the Emergency Shelter program. He asked that, if possible, reconsideration be given to the subject; that if any Council members oppose the program, they make it known at this time; and that, if such a shelter is still approved, that assistance be given to those attempting to find a location which might be approved. Council members stated that assistance is presently being given, and the program has not been abandoned.
