Item No. 3 (continued) <br />In response to question of Councilman Greenalch regarding his ability to vote <br />on the subject application, since he is a member of the Home Sharing Program <br />Board, City Attorney Schricker said that he may vote on the application with <br />a note made in the record that he is abstaining from the vote on the portion <br />relating to the Home Sharing Program. <br />Title read. M /S: Greenalch /Britschgi <br />RESOLUTION NO. 10223 APPROVING APPLICATION FOR FEDERAL ASSISTANCE (COMMUNITY <br />DEVELOPMENT BLOCK GRANT) AND AUTHORIZING EXECUTION AND FILING OF ALL <br />DOCUMENTS PERTAINING THERETO (FISCAL YEAR 1986 -87) <br />adopted unanimously by roll call vote, Councilman Greenalch abstaining from <br />the vote on the portion of the application relating to the Home Sharing <br />Program. <br />Councilman Britschgi recommended for the record that at the next joint <br />meeting of the City Council and the Planning Commission that the agenda <br />include an item relating to whether the Commission has a role in considering <br />applications for Community Development Block Grant Funds. <br />MEMO 6/13/86 <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />( Counc i 1 recessed from 9:16 to 9: 25 p. m. ) <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />ORAL COMMUNICATIONS <br />1. Steve Howard, 907 Katherine, commented concerning Council consideration on <br />June 2, 1986, of the property at 1756 Broadway for the Emergency Shelter <br />program. He asked that, if possible, reconsideration be given to the <br />subject; that if any Council members oppose the program, they make it known <br />at this time; and that, if such a shelter is still approved, that assistance <br />be given to those attempting to find a location which might be approved. <br />Council members stated that assistance is presently being given, and the <br />program has not been abandoned.
