AMBER TECHNOLOGIES & CONSULTING FEB 28 2002 AM~ER Technologies & Consultin~Z CITY OF REDWOOD CiTY EN~!NEERING & CONSTRUCTION Proposal to Provide On-going Program Management and Marketing Services for the Shores Shuttle AMBER Technologies & Consulting proposes to continue providing program management and marketing services in support of the City of Redwood City's Shores Shuttle Residential Taxi Shuffle program for the period March 2002 to Februa~ 2003. WORK OBJECTIVES 3aMBER Technologies & Consulting proposes to continue management of the Shores Shuttle on- demand taxi shuttle program hnldng the residential areas of Redwood Shores east of highway 101 to the Caltrain commuter rail system to the west of highway 101. The following is a list of the specific tasks AMBER Technologies & Consulting proposes to perform in this role. · Maintain a thorough contact mailing list of program participants · Review as needed the service parameters including hours of service, taxi stop locations, dispatching protocols, and other program logistics · Design and prim marketing materials · Arrange for media marketing of the program including local newsletters, P.S.As, etc. Conduct periodic marketing campaigns to ensure high program visibility among targeted residential commuters · Work with city staff; the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce, and other community groups to develop and promote new service · Make presentations to City Council and other community organizations as necessary · Monitor vendor performance to insurer quality customer support and service · Handle all rider complaints · Follow up with vendor to insure the rider concerns are addressed · Monitor program and provide ongoing support · Collect timely ridership data from vendor and provide reports to city staff' · Make recommendations and adjust program components as necessary · Identify potential funding sources that can support future expansion and/or on-going costs associated with this program __
