AMBER <br /> TECHNOLOGIES <br /> & CONSULTING FEB 28 2002 <br /> AM~ER Technologies & Consultin~Z CITY OF REDWOOD CiTY <br /> EN~!NEERING & CONSTRUCTION <br /> Proposal to Provide <br /> On-going Program Management and <br /> Marketing Services for the Shores Shuttle <br /> <br /> AMBER Technologies & Consulting proposes to continue providing program management <br />and marketing services in support of the City of Redwood City's Shores Shuttle Residential Taxi <br />Shuffle program for the period March 2002 to Februa~ 2003. <br /> <br />WORK OBJECTIVES <br /> <br />3aMBER Technologies & Consulting proposes to continue management of the Shores Shuttle on- <br />demand taxi shuttle program hnldng the residential areas of Redwood Shores east of highway 101 <br />to the Caltrain commuter rail system to the west of highway 101. <br /> <br />The following is a list of the specific tasks AMBER Technologies & Consulting proposes to <br />perform in this role. <br /> <br /> · Maintain a thorough contact mailing list of program participants <br /> · Review as needed the service parameters including hours of service, taxi stop locations, <br /> dispatching protocols, and other program logistics <br /> · Design and prim marketing materials <br /> · Arrange for media marketing of the program including local newsletters, P.S.As, etc. <br /> Conduct periodic marketing campaigns to ensure high program visibility among targeted <br /> residential commuters <br /> · Work with city staff; the Redwood City Chamber of Commerce, and other community <br /> groups to develop and promote new service <br /> · Make presentations to City Council and other community organizations as necessary <br /> · Monitor vendor performance to insurer quality customer support and service <br /> · Handle all rider complaints <br /> · Follow up with vendor to insure the rider concerns are addressed <br /> · Monitor program and provide ongoing support <br /> · Collect timely ridership data from vendor and provide reports to city staff' <br /> · Make recommendations and adjust program components as necessary <br /> · Identify potential funding sources that can support future expansion and/or on-going costs <br /> associated with this program __ <br /> <br /> <br />
