Public Hearings (401) <br />Report: Finance Director 7/16/86 <br />Recommended Annual Budget 1986 -87 as modified by Council actions 6/21 and <br />6/26/86 <br />Affidavits of Publication of Notice of Hearings reported on file. <br />a. Recommended Annual Budget 1986 -87 <br />b. Expenditure of Revenue Sharing Funds <br />Ron Exley, 1512 Roberta Drive, San Mateo, Executive Director of the Police <br />Youth Club (PYC) referred to his letter requesting an increase in the <br />allocation of Human Service Assistance funds from $5,200 to $10,000. Mr. <br />Exley described the success the PYC has had in working with problem youth. <br />Beryl Darnell, 3907 Lakemead Way, member of the Senior Affairs Commission, <br />requested information on the status of his request on behalf of the <br />Commission for a parttime person to assist at the Senior Center. City -- <br />Manager Smith said that the position is not included in the recommended <br />budget at this time because of pending use studies. Mayor Claire offered to <br />investigate the matter and report back to Mr. Darnell soon. <br />MEMO 7/24/86 <br />Mayor Claire invited anyone else present who wished to speak to do so.
