Report re Street Lighting (802 -03) <br />Report: City Manager 7/16/86 <br />In response to questions, Director of Public Works Addiego described the <br />criteria for street light needs, stating it might be logical to install the <br />160 for which requests are pending, noting that there is justification for <br />some 1,500 lights throughout the City. Mr. Addiego also suggested another <br />logical approach to installation might be to install those which are least <br />expensive and do not require additional wiring and conduits and said that <br />installation is expected to be made by City staff. <br />M /S: Britschgi /Chandler to allocate $25,000 from Resources Held in Reserve <br />toward a 1986 -87 program to install street lights in locations where staff <br />determines they are most needed, with staff to report where they have been <br />installed. <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />7/21/86 <br />Page 8 <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 46 <br />Page No. 340 <br />
