GENERAL
1. Councilman Britschgi referred to the Planning Commission meeting of July 15,
1986, when a public hearing was held on the Resolution of Intention to rezone
all School District sites to PF (Public Facility) District and a large number
of residents were present to object. Councilman Britschgi suggested a letter
be written to those to whom notice had been mailed explaining the situation
and apologizing for the confusion as they were not told the reason for the
proposed rezoning.
City Manager Smith reported that notice was mailed and published in
accordance with all appropriate procedures for rezoning as used for many
years without previous public misunderstanding.
CONSENSUS: Mayor Claire determined it to be the consensus of Council that
the Mayor prepare a letter of explanation relating to the reasons for the
proposed PF District rezoning to be mailed to those who had previously
received notice.
MEMO 7/30/86
---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - --
BOARD, COMMISSION AND COMMITTEE REPORTS
5.
