Civic Center Design (702 -02) Report: City Manager 8/15/86 In response to questions, Assistant to City Manager Margolis said in further explanation of items in the subject report that the $30,000 related to project work for the library site preparation involves underground lines, etc.; that the $45,000 is for design of the library mezzanine and basement which had previously been thought to be structurally unsound and not usable; that the $25,000 for special testing and investigation is needed as a result of review of existing structural materials in the buildings to be rehabili- tated; and that the funds are within the project budget.
