E1 Camino Real /Edgewood Road Traffic Signal System (1104 -03) (continued from 8/18/86 per Council action) Reports: Public Works Director 8/13/86 and 6/24/85 Public Works Director Addiego presented the subject reports and replied to questions relating to details of overhead projections relating to accident history at the site and the possibility of creating traffic problems elsewhere in attempting to respond to problems at the subject intersection. M /S: Stangel /Chandler to maintain the status quo with regard to traffic regulatory devices at the E1 Camino Real /Edgewood Road intersection, since the recommended devices such as a "No Left Turn" sign, a median barrier and a traffic signal would necessarily cause traffic congestion and potential increased traffic hazards at Whipple Avenue /E1 Camino Real, at Finger Avenue /E1 Camino Real and at Avondale /E1 Camino Real, and, additionally, would increase the flow of traffic on Whipple Avenue.
