Announced that the Peninsula Division of the League of California Cities will <br />meet on Thursday, October 30, 1986, at the Marriott Hotel in Millbrae with <br />Assemblyman Naylor as the speaker on items on the November 4, 1986, general <br />election ballot and urged Council members to attend. <br />2. Reported that the back of the old Washington School has been painted to <br />remove the graffitti, etc. <br />Councilman Greenalch <br />1. Called attention to his memorandum of October 2, 1986, relating to the <br />Regional Planning Committee meeting of September 25, 1986, and requesting <br />staff assistance. (Memo is on f le. ) <br />2. Called attention to an information sheet furnished by ABAG (Association of <br />Bay Area Governments) relating to Proposition 61 on the November 4, 1986 <br />ballot and suggesting it be sent to all public employees. (On file.) <br />3. Asked Council to consider moving the executive session category of the <br />Council Agenda to the beginning of the meeting, suggesting such sessions be <br />conducted at 7:00 p.m., before the regular meeting commences at 7:30 p.m. <br />City Attorney Schricker advised that such sessions are part of the regular <br />meeting and could be held at 7:30 p.m., noting that if they are to be <br />scheduled for a time prior to the regular meeting time, the Council would <br />either have to adjourn to the session at the previous meeting or follow the <br />special meeting notice procedures. <br />City Manager Smith said that he will attempt to plan ahead for executive <br />sessions to the extent possible so that Council will be able to adjourn to a <br />meeting time prior to the 7:30 p.m. regular meeting time. <br />MEMO 10/10/86 <br />Councilman Bury <br />1.
