Public Hearing - Application to amend Ordinance No. <br />1130, the Redwood City Zoning Ordinance, to allow <br />hotel /motel use as a conditional use in the IP <br />(Industrial Park) District - Brugg er Corporation, <br />applicant (203 -02) <br />Planning Commission record transmitted 10/17/86 <br />Affidavit of Publication of Notice of Hearing is on file. <br />In response to question, Community Development Director Schroeter said that <br />the "T- Combining" District designation was considered but rejected because it <br />would be spot zoning and would grant extra privileges to the subject <br />property. <br />Vice Mayor Chandler declared the public hearing open at 7:42 p.m. <br />Mark Zackman, General Manager of Bay City Land Company, representing The <br />Brugger Corporation, requested Council approval of the proposed zoning <br />change.
