Jean Ford, 303 McEvoy, read a statement to the City Council and San Mateo <br />County Board of Supervisors containing several signatures asking for <br />reconsideration of RESOLUTION NO. 10371 of 11/10/86 establishing the family <br />living center at 110 Locust Street. Mrs. Ford said she and the other signers <br />oppose the location of the center. <br />Bill Ford, 303 McEvoy, said that insufficient time was allowed for protest of <br />the location of the center. <br />Mayor Claire said that the resolution establishing the center was adopted on <br />a 6 -1 vote on November 10, 1986, following hours of testimony during which <br />the opponents of the center were allocated the most time for remarks; that <br />notice was regrettably short; and that a neighborhood association which will <br />work with those operating the center is being established to insure that the <br />problems anticipated by the opponents will not occur. <br />(See Council Minutes 11/10/86, pp.4, 5 and 6) <br />---------------------------------------------------------------------------- - - - - -- <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />MINUTE BOOK NO. 46 11/24/86 <br />Page No. 458 Page 3 <br />
