<br />16.6.4 <br /> <br />16.6.5 <br /> <br />16.6.6 <br /> <br />16.6.7 <br /> <br />Employees shall be paid overtime on a straight time basis or shall receive one (1) hour of <br />administrative leave for each hour of overtime worked, up to a maximum of one hundred twenty <br />(120) hours per calendar year. Administrative leave not used by December 31 shall be paid off <br />at the straight time rate. <br /> <br />Battalion Chiefs assigned to a shift schedule shall be paid overtime at a straight time basis or <br />shall receive up to one hundred and sixty-eight (168) hours as administrative leave at the fifty- <br />six (56) hour rate. Administrative leave not used by December 31 shall be paid off at the <br />straight time rate. <br /> <br />Battalion Chiefs shall have the right of first refusal for all hire backs to fill a Battalion Chiefs shift <br />when the regularly scheduled Battalion Chief is on a City authorized leave. Overtime hours <br />eamed under this hire back provision shall be paid in cash and not count toward the one <br />hundred sixty-eight hours (168) yearly overtime limit specified in Sections 16.6.5. <br /> <br />The following classifications shall continue to receive time and one-half their regular rate of pay <br />for all hours worked in excess of eight (8) hours in one day or forty (40) hours in one week. With <br />the approval of the Department Head these classifications can accumulate up to a maximum of <br />eighty (80) hours of compensatory time off, which may be used at times chosen by the employee <br />and approved by the Department Head. <br /> <br />Administrative Secretary <br />Human Resources Technician <br />Information Technology Analyst I <br />Information Technology Analyst II <br />Juvenile Specialist <br />Senior Information Technology Analyst <br />Supervising Information Technology Analyst <br />Webmaster <br /> <br />16.7 <br /> <br />Call Back Overtime <br /> <br />The following classifications shall be credited with forty (40) hours of call back overtime effective January 1, <br />of each calendar year during the term of this agreement: <br /> <br />Public Works Superintendent <br />Public Works Supervisor <br />Parks, Recreation & Community Services Manager <br />Administrative Services Manager <br />Senior Civil Engineer <br />Supervising Civil Engineer <br /> <br />An employee hired after January 1 shall have their forty (40) hours of call back overtime credit prorated <br />based on their hire date. <br /> <br />13 <br />
