<br />(f) Affirmative Action. The Grantee certifies that it <br />is in compliance with the Equal Employment Opportunity Requirements <br />of Executive Order No 11246, as amended by Executive Order No 1375, <br />Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, the California Fair <br />Employment Practices Act and any other federal or state laws <br />pertaining to equal employment opportunity, and that it will not <br />discriminate against any employee or applicant for employment or <br />opportunity to purchase the dwelling to be built on the Property on <br />the basis of race, religion, color, national origin, ancestry, sex, <br />age, physical or mental disability, marital status, sexual <br />preference, or political affiliation in matters pertaining to <br />occupancy, hiring, training, upgrading, transfers, compensation or <br />termination. <br /> <br />(g) <br /> <br />Fair Emplovment Practices <br /> <br />(1) The Grantee agrees to not discriminate against any <br />employee or applicant for employment because of race, religion, <br />color, national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental <br />disability, marital status, sexual preference, or political <br />affiliation. The Grantee agrees to take affirmative action to <br />ensure that applicants are employed, and that employees are treated <br />during employment, without regard to their race, religion, color, <br />national origin, ancestry, sex, age, physical or mental disability, <br />marital status, sexual preference, or political affiliation. Such <br />action shall include, but not be limited to the following: <br />employment, upgrading, demotion or transfers; recruitment or <br />recruitment advertising; layoff or termination; rates of payor <br />other forms of compensation; and selection for training, including <br />apprenticeship. The Grantee agrees to post in conspicuous places, <br />available to employees and applicants for employment, notices to be <br />provided by the City of Redwood City setting forth the provisions <br />of this Fair Employment Practices section. <br /> <br />(2) The Grantee agrees to permit access to his records <br />of employment, employment advertisements, application forms, and <br />other pertinent data and records by the State Fair Employment <br />Practices Commission, or any other agency of the State of <br />California designated by the awarding authority, for the purposes <br />of investigation to ascertain compliance with the Fair Employment <br />Practices section of this contract. <br /> <br />(h) Nondiscrimination Based on Disability.
