13. Concept approval of Fire Station No. 1 (1401 -03) <br />(continued from 9/23/85) <br />Report of City Manager and Director of General Services 9/20/85 <br />Design & Engineering Systems, Inc. elevations <br />Keith Bautista, DES, presented the concept plan for Fire Station No. 1 <br />referring to the elevations provided earlier, to table models of the building <br />itself and of the area, and to a slide of the site plan. <br />It was noted that the plan was considered on September 23 and that the <br />Council committee and staff have spent many hours on the proposed building. <br />M /S: Rhodes /Mosher to approve the concept for Fire Station No. 1 as <br />outlined in City Manager's Report of September 20, 1985, and as presented by <br />the representative of DES so that detailed plans and specifications may be <br />prepared to permit a call for bids. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote.
