Stangel <br />Regular Meeting <br />CALL TO ORDER - 7:30 p.m., Mayor Britschgi presiding <br />M I N U T E S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />Board of Supervisors Chambers <br />401 Marshall Street <br />December 2, 1985 <br />7 :30 p.m. <br />Councilmen present: Bury, Chandler, Claire, Mosher, Stangel and <br />Mayor Britschgi <br />Councilmen absent: Councilman Rhodes <br />Officials and staff present: Smith, Schricker, Rupert and Addiego, Sch roeter, <br />Light, O'Brien, Hamilton, Church, Reggetts <br />PLEDGE OF ALLEGIANCE - Councilman Chandler <br />INVOCATION - Reverend Donald Rowland <br />lst Congregational Church <br />APPROVAL OF MINUTES - November 18 and 25, 1985 <br />M /S: Stangel /Mosher to approve the subject Minutes as submitted, Mayor Britschgi <br />abstaining from the Minutes of November 18, 1985. <br />Carried unanimously by voice vote. <br />-------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br />SPECIAL ORDERS OF THE DAY AND PUBLIC HEARINGS <br />1. Presentation by Police Youth Club <br />Ronald S. Exley thanked Mayor Britschgi for the invitation to be present, and <br />introduced himself to the Council as the new Executive Director of the Police <br />Youth Club. <br />He described some of the activities of the Club, which has a membership of 500 <br />young men and women who are involved in the various recreational programs, and <br />reported that the Junior 49er Football Team is playing extremely well, and <br />that two teams have won the Northern California Championships. <br />Mayor Britschgi wished him well in this administration. <br />------------------------------------------------------------------ - - - - -- <br />Reg.Mtg. <br />12/2/85 <br />MINUTE BOOKINO. 46 <br />Page NO. 108 <br />
