EXHIBIT "A" beals sport Revised April 22, 2002 Mamh 27, 2002 Mr. Peter Vorametsanti Senior Civil Engineer City of Redwood City 1017 Middlefleld Road Redwood City, CA 94064 RE: CONSTRUCTION ADMINISTRATION SERVICES Hoover Park Sport Field Improvements beals sport Project No.: 320101 Dear Peter, In response to your request, heals sport, a division of heals alliance, is pleased to submit the following proposal to provide Construction Administration Services on the above-referenced project. This proposal reflects the Scope of Work required to provide the City with comprehensive services during construction for the synthetic turf improvements and associated work. The schedule calls for construction to begin in May 2002, and construction to be completed by the summer of 2002. PROJECT UNDERSTANDING: The City of Redwood City is proposing to retain beals sport to provide Construction Administration Services for the renovation of the fields at Hoover Park. Primary project scope components will include attending construction-related meetings, answer questions, review submittals, and address miscellaneous construction issues, such as sequencing work, construction conflicts, etc. SPECIFIC SCOPE OF SERVICES: In accordance with our understanding of the project, beals sport proposes to provide the following services. A. Construction Services Following the completion and approval of the Construction Documents, we propose the following Construction Administration Services: 1. Bidding Phase a) Contact potential bidders. b) Attend pre-bid meeting. c) Coordinate and respond to contractor questions during the bid period. d) Preparation of addendum as necessary. e) Attend bid opening. f) Assist the City in reviewing and analyzing the bids.
