EXHIBIT "A" SCOPE OF SERVICES - RATES 1. Consultant agrees to furnish diligently and faithfully the following services to City, commencing on April 8, 2002, and terminating on August 11, 2002: (a) The training, selection and scheduling of umpires for all softball games in the following leagues (figures in parentheses represent number of games): (1) C-1 (42) / (3 playoffs) (2) C-3 (42) / (3 playoffs) (3) Co-Ed (42) / (3 playoffs) (4) C-2 (42) / (3 playoffs) (5) WC-2 (42) / (3 playoffs) (6) D-3 (42) / (3 playoffs) (7) C-5 (30) / (3 playoffs) (8) C-6 (36) / (3 playoffs) (9) WC-1 (42) / (3 playoffs) (10) Co-Ed (42) / (3 playoffs) (11) D-5 (42) / (3 playoffs) (12) D-6 (42) / (3 playoffs) (13) Co-Ed (30) / (3 playoffs) (14) D-4 (56) / (3 playoffs) (15) D-1 (36) / (3 playoffs) (16) D-2 (56) / (3 playoffs) (17) Make-up (8) Total: 672 League Games + 48 playoff games (b) The supervision of necessary personnel to officiate at the above mentioned softball games, and services related and incidental thereto, including such additional services as may be prescribed by the Parks and Recreation Director. 2. It is understood that the purpose of this Agreement is to facilitate and to provide a convenient means for the administration of the individual activities of Consultant's members, and for the disbursement by City to individual members of Consultant for the mutual benefit of the parties hereto. Therefore, no monetary consideration shall be payable to Consultant for Consultant's services rendered hereunder except for the sum of Two Hundred Dollars ($200) for administrative services. 3.
