Garfield (3.17 acres) and Taft (2.71 acres), hereafter referred to collectively as the "property." The <br /> fields will be soccer and youth senior baseball league dimension. The fields at Taft will be Little League <br /> and youth soccer dimension. <br /> <br /> 2. l~roperty Subiect to License. <br /> <br /> TI'ds Agreement constitutes a license for a period of at least ten (10) years granted by District to <br />City and County to enter upon and use those portions of the District Property that are necessary for the <br />purpose, and subject to the restrictions, as specified in this Agreement. This license is granted in <br />consideration for the time expended and expenses incurred and to be incurred by the City and County, <br />including, but not limited to, the expenses incurred and to be incurred in connection with the design and <br />establishment of the playing fields and maintenance thereof, as set forth below. Such license shall <br />become effective upon execution of this Agreement, and shall thereafter have a term coincident with the <br />term of this Agreement. Such license shall be deemed a license coupled with an interest. Neither <br />County nor City shall be required to pay additional compensation for such license. District will <br />cooperate fully with respect to the design, repair, restoration, establishment, ma'mtenance and <br />scheduling of the fac'dities. <br /> <br /> The license granted hereby does not constitute a deed, grant of easement, lease or conveyance, <br />or transfer of any property interest. <br /> <br /> 3. Use of Playing Fields. <br /> <br /> The property may only be used for playing fields and such ancillary activities as are customarily <br />carried out in association with such use. <br /> <br /> 4. Design and Establishment of?laying Fields. <br /> <br /> a. City shall let out a contract with a landscape arch/tect to establish a bid package, <br /> <br />and implement the bidding process pursuant to agreement with the District and the County, or their <br />representatives. <br /> <br /> 2 <br /> <br /> <br />
