b. Construction plans, as appropriate, shall be prepared by City and provided to the <br />other parties for their approval, which approval shall not be unreasonably withheld and or delayed. The <br />costs associated with the preparation of the construction plans shall be part of the project costs, and <br />City shall be reimbursed for costs incurred and/or to be incurred in connection therewith upon demand. <br />The playing fields shall meet all regulatory requirements applicable to such a facility. <br /> <br /> c. Final approval of the playing fields shall reside in the Board of Trustees of <br /> <br />District, the Board of Supervisors of the County and the City Council of City, and such approvals shall <br />not be unreasonably withheld and/or delayed. <br /> <br /> d. The playing fields shall meet all regulatory requirements applicable to such a <br />facility. <br /> <br /> e. It is anticipated that establishment of the playing fields may commence in Spring, <br /> <br />2000, but that due to construction at Garfield School, establishment of fields at that site may take place <br />at a later date which is anticipated to be on or about Iune 2000. <br /> <br /> 5. Payment for Initial Repairs, Restoration, Establishment and Maintenance of <br /> <br />Playing Fields. <br /> <br /> a. The County of San Mateo will bear 100% of the costs associated with <br /> <br />architectural and engineering costs and the establishment of the soccer fields at Taft, estimated to be <br />$733,3791 The City shall be responsible for the costs, if any, incurred or to be incurred in cotmection <br />with the preparation of any envkonmental study or report under the California Environmental Quality <br />Act. <br /> <br /> b. The City and the County wiil each bear 50% of architectural and engineering <br /> <br />costs and the cost of establishing the soccer fields at Garfield, for an estimated total of $1,100,000, or <br />an estimated responsibility of $550,000 each for the City and the County. City shall be responsible for <br />the preparation of any environmental study or report under CEQA, but County shall be responsible for <br /> <br /> 3 <br /> <br /> <br />
