On May 22, 2002, the bid openings were held. The two bids received for the 2001- <br />2002 Asphalt Rubber Chip Seal Project are summarized below: <br /> <br /> Rank Contractor I Amount <br /> 1. Western States Surfacing Inc. - Modesto, CA $416,832.82 <br /> 2.
