Item No. 8 (continued) <br />Nita Spanqler, 970 Edgewood road, said that she favors a "town meeting" and <br />suggested it would be helpful to Council in getting to know the changing <br />community, commented on the need for housing and the traffic situation, and <br />urged Council to make the City a good place to live and other problems will <br />fall into place. Mrs. Spangler also urged Council to use their influence to <br />have the annual Progress Seminar of the Chamber of Commerce held in Redwood - <br />City in the future; urged that architectural controls be established in <br />residential areas; and urged improvement of the Greyhound Bus Depot. <br />MEMO 3/22/85 <br />CONSENT CALENDAR <br />M /S: Stangel /Chandler to waive reading of the Consent Calendar, adopt the <br />resolutions and approve all other items. <br />Carried unanimously by roll call vote. <br />9.
