Truscelli upon <br />being the 44th recipient of the "Outstanding Citizen" <br />Award (301 -11) <br />Mayor Britschgi presented a framed parchment copy of the resolution <br />commending him to Vincent Truscelli. <br />Title read. TRUSCELLI ON <br />RECEIVING THE 'OUTSTANDING CITIZEN' AWARD <br />adopted unanimously by roll call vote. <br />3. Public Hearing - Seaport Centre Maintenance District <br />(per RESOLUTION NO. 9815, 3/4/85; Report of City <br />Manager 2/27/85) (409 -02) <br />Mayor Britschgi read the following opening statement and declared the public <br />hearing open at 7:45 p.m: <br />"This is the time and place set for hearing on the formation of the proposed <br />Seaport Centre Maintenance District. Notices have been published, posted and <br />mailed pursuant to law and the certificates and an affidavit of publishing, <br />posting and mailing are on file in the office of the City Clerk. These <br />proceedings were undertaken pursuant to the provisions of City Ordinance No. <br />1895 and applicable provisions of the Improvement Act of 1911. This hearing <br />is a hearing on the formation of the proposed maintenance district, the <br />extent thereof, the method for the levy of benefit assessments, and the <br />formula by which the levies will be apportioned. <br />"Maps indicating the boundaries of the proposed maintenance district and <br />showing the local public improvements proposed to be maintained are now and <br />have been on file in the office of the City Clerk and available for public <br />inspection. Any one of these items mentioned above may be the subject of <br />protests or endorsements. <br />"You are asked to clearly identify yourself and the property owned by you so <br />that your statements may be correctly recorded. <br />Reg.
