Item No. 3 (continued) <br />"The hearing is declared open and I will ask the City Clerk to report on the <br />various notices given in connection with the hearing." <br />City Clerk Hildebrand read the following report as to notices: "Notices of <br />this hearing have been published, posted and mailed as required by the <br />provisions of Redwood City's Ordinance No. 1895 and applicable provisions of <br />the Improvement Act of 1911. An Affidavit and certificates of publishing, <br />posting and mailing are on file in my office. Maps showing the proposed <br />maintenance district boundaries and showing the public improvements to be <br />maintained were filed in my office on January 24, 1985, and January 30, <br />1985, and are now and have been available for public inspection since that <br />time." <br />Director of Public Works Addiego described the nature of the District, <br />stating that only one property owner, Lincoln Property, is involved. He used <br />transparencies to indicate the District boundaries and the location of the <br />following utilities to be provided: water, storm drains, sanitary sewers and <br />levees. Mr. Addiego noted that FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) <br />has requirements regarding maintenance of the levee system which protects the <br />the property. <br />Mrs. Hildebrand reported no written protests have been received. <br />Mayor Britschgi invited anyone present who wished to speak to do so.
