Councilman Stangel reported having attended a meeting of the Administrative <br />Serivices Policy Committee in San Jose last Thursday, the subject of which was <br />telecommunications, and that brought to their attention were Assembly Bills <br />808 and 816 which he suggested be considered by the Legislative Committee. <br />Also discussed was SB 75, commonly referred to as "deep pockets ", and he <br />noted that according to the City Attorney of San Diego, their city's costs <br />for insurance this year went from $150,000 to $750,000, in spite of the fact <br />that the deductible went from $200,000 to $1,000,000.
