MOTION: finding that the public interest and necessity and <br />the needs of the Parking District No. 1 no longer require the <br />metered spaces and approving the removal of 43 on- and off - street <br />meters at Franklin Street (5 /7th vote) <br />b.' Report refinancing Civic Center improvements (802 -02) <br />Report of City Manager 1/4/84 <br />City Manager Smith presented his report. <br />Eve Kellogg, 1400 Hopkins, stated she has been active in Library affairs <br />since 1944 and that Redwood City has one of the best collections in the <br />State, but lack of space and proper facilities makes it almost impossible <br />to use, so that it cannot fully serve the needs of the citizens.
