Revenues and Financial Condition <br />Finance Director Tasseff presented slides of Revenue Estimates 1983-84- - <br />General Fund and Citywide vs. Countywide Sales and C.P.I. with City <br />Taxable Sales Growth. <br />Councilman Claire reported on his discussion meeting with Assemblyman <br />Naylor and the effect of proposed "Jarvis II" initiative on the City, <br />if it is approved by voters. <br />3. Capital Improvements Planning <br />a. Five Year Projection <br />Assistant to the City Manager Margolis referred to the Five Year <br />Capital Improvement Plan, Gas Tax and Capital Outlay Fund of <br />January 26, 1984, and reviewed details, including the relationship <br />of the Plan to available financing. <br />b. Sidewalk Reconstruction /Street Trees <br />City Manager Smith recommended a long term commitment to the <br />problem, noting that a variety of alternatives are available for <br />addressing a solution to the costly problem. <br />c.
