The motion failed on the following roll call vote: Ayes: Councilman Bury, Claire, Mosher Noes: Councilman Biagi, Britschgi, Rhodes and Mayor Stangel M /S: Britschgi /Claire to instruct the City's representative to ABAG to approve an increase in dues not to exceed $3,000 per year for Redwood City. The motion carried on the following roll call vote: Ayes: Councilman Britschgi, Bury, Claire, Mosher and Mayor Stangel Noes: Councilmen Biagi, Rhodes MINUTE ORDER NO. 84 -51 Councilman Bury said that he does not know if the option proposed by the motion is available, but he will present it to ABAG. CONSENT CALENDAR At the request of Vice Mayor Britschgi, and there being no objection, Mayor Stangel ordered that Item 6. be considered separately. Director of Public Works Addiego presented slides of the Upland Road /Whipple Avenue intersection indicating the area proposed to be vacated and commented on the reasons for the vacation. In response to question, Mr. Addiego said that the City would not be compensated for the vacation since the property would revert to its owners. M /S: Biagi /Rhodes to waive reading of the Consent Calendar, adopt the resolution and approve the other items. Carried unanimously by roll call vote. 6.
