I3ritschgi <br /> <br />BOARD OF SUPERVISORS CHAMBERS <br />401 MARSHALL STREET <br /> <br />Ma il i ng Address: <br />City Hall, P.O.Box 478 <br />Redwood City, CA 94064 <br /> <br />REDEVELOPMENT AGENCY <br />April 2, 1984 <br /> <br />Redevelopment Agency <br />CALL TO ORDER - 7:30 P.M., Chairman Stangel presiding <br /> <br />Directors Present: <br /> <br />Biagi, Britschgi, Bury, Claire, Mosher, Rhodes and <br />Mayor Stange 1 <br /> <br />Directors Absent: <br /> <br />None <br /> <br />Officials and staff present: <br /> <br />Smith, Schricker, Tasseff, Hildebrand and Addiego, <br />Schroeter <br /> <br />--------------------------------------------------------------------------------- <br /> <br />GENERAL <br /> <br />1. <br /> <br />Participation agreement <br /> <br />Report of City Manager 3/29/84 <br /> <br />City Manager Smith presented the subject report. <br /> <br />In response to question, Planning Director Schroeter said that the <br />commercial activity involving the sale of automobiles would be a <br />permitted use of property according to the previously considered El <br />Camino Real Plan. <br /> <br />M/S: BritschgilMosher to take into consideration the City's expectation <br />that Safeway Stores Incorporated will present a proposal for the entire <br />area including the subject site within a week or two and continue <br />consideration of the proposed participation agreement with Boardwalk <br />Volkswagen for four weeks. <br /> <br />Mr. Smith noted that Boardwalk Volkswagen has an application for a use <br />permit scheduled to be heard by the Zoning Administrator on April 4, <br />1984. <br /> <br />Bob Kissick, President, and Jamie Kopf, Vice President, of Boardwalk <br />Volkswagen, said that the proposed four-week continuance would put them <br />ten days out of escrow, and they would have financial concerns. <br /> <br />Redev.
